Betsson’s second quarter results were boosted significantly by the FIFA World Cup, with the first half of the tournament generating four per cent of the operator’s total revenue for the period.
Total gross turnover for Betsson’s sportsbook during the World Cup amounted to SEK827m (€89.7m), with the final of the tournament alone generating SEK38m.
