US casino operator Caesars Entertainment Corporation has reported a 3 per cent drop in total net revenues to $2,143.2m for the first quarter of 2013, despite a 25 per cent increase in revenues attributable to the company’s online arm, Caesars Interactive Entertainment.
Caesars said that the revenues decline was a result of a strong comparable period last year, as well as a decrease in overall visitation to the company’s properties.
