The UK Gambling Commission has revoked the remote betting licence of betting concierge service Bet Butler, ruling that the company is incapable of carrying out its activities in a manner consistent with the regulator’s licensing objectives.
The Commission decided to revoke Bet Butler’s licence under sections 117(1)(f) and 119(1) of the 2005 Gambling Act, having suspended the company earlier this month after it was reported that it had ceased trading.
