The Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association’s (GBGA) legal challenge against the introduction of the UK’s Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act will conclude later this week after a final judgment is issued on the case Friday.
The GBGA secured approval to launch a judicial review last month to determine whether the terms of the new legislation were in breach of European Union law. The case was heard in the UK High Court over September 23rd and 24th.
