New Mexican gaming legislation set for vote in plenary Tuesday

A new law to regulate gambling in Mexico has moved closer to passing into law after being approved by a Government Commission, with the legislature set to consider it in a plenary session later today.

The new legislation is focused on emphasising transparency in granting operating permits, according to Deputy Jose Arturo Salinas Garza of the National Action Party (PAN).
