SportAccord, the union for all Olympic and non-Olympic sports federations, is to establish the Sports Integrity Standards Organisation (SISO) in a bid to ramp up efforts to promote sporting integrity and social responsibility.
The newly-formed entity will be charged with developing standards, guidelines and licensing systems for both sporting bodies and service providers working with these associations, as well as leading campaigns to increase public awareness of match-fixing, social responsibility and sustainability in sports.
