The long-running process to save Atlantic City’s Revel Casino Hotel has taken another twist after a judge approved a petition to terminate the sale of the venue to property developer Glenn Straub, with the property to be put back up for auction.
US Bankruptcy Judge Gloria Burns ruled in favour Thursday of Revel’s petition asking to terminate the agreement with Florida-based Straub’s Polo North Country Club, which was set to acquire the venue for $95.4m.
