Australian commission steps in over AWC negotiations with NRL

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has issued a draft objection notice aiming to revoke two collective bargaining notifications lodged by operator association the Australian Wagering Council (AWC).

Last month, the AWC lodged a collective bargaining and collective boycott notification with the ACCC, Australia’s competition regulatory body.
