Lawmakers in the US state of Minnesota have introduced legislation which would impose an immediate ban on online lottery sales, with a task force set up to analyse the impact of selling lottery tickets via the internet.
Bill HF2922 was introduced last week to establish a study on online lottery sales and a moratorium. It follows the launch of new online scratch card games by the Minnesota Lottery last month.
