Switzerland-based sports data service supplier Sportradar has secured investment from European private equity group EQT, which the company claims will allow it to continue its growth path through value-adding acquisitions, as well as investments in the development of new products and services.
EQT VI has agreed to buy shares from Sportradar founder and CEO Carsten Koerl, various management shareholders and another of EQT's funds, EQT Expansion Capital II.
