Austrian gaming giant NOVOMATIC has acquired UK-based Playnation, just two years after the amusement machines operator underwent a management buyout.
Headquartered in Runcorn, Cheshire, Playnation operates 20,000 amusement machines across the UK, including slot machines, air hockey tables and toy crane machines. It currently has around 800 employees.
