The German Lotto and Toto Block (DLTB) has hailed the findings of an investigation that it commissioned, which claims to show that the country’s gambling regulatory body the Glücksspielkollegium is constitutional, despite an increasing number of legal opinions suggesting otherwise.
The study, conducted on behalf of the DLTB by state and administrative legal expert Professor Dr Johannes Dietlein, ultimately states that the Glücksspielkollegium, comprising representatives of Germany’s 16 federal states, is compatible with the country’s constitution.
