Total sales for the Chinese lottery market increased by 19 per cent to RMB178.4bn (€21.5bn) for the first half of 2014, following strong growth across both the Welfare Lottery and Sports Lottery.
According to data from China’s Ministry of Finance, Welfare Lottery sales increased by 16 per cent to RMB98.5bn, representing 55 per cent of total lottery sales in China.
