Central European land-based and online betting operator Fortuna Entertainment has credited its growing online and mobile sports betting channel for its strong first half performance, with results benefiting from three major sporting tournaments which took place during the period.
Total amounts staked were up 21 per cent to €333.2m, with sports betting amounts staked benefiting from the Winter Olympics, the Ice Hockey World Championship and the football World Cup.
