Paddy Power’s head of online Peter O’Donovan has said that the strong customer growth seen in the first half of the year will help boost the operator’s profitability going forward.
The operator saw first half profit from its non-Australian online business fall 48 per cent year-on-year to €22m, largely as a result of adverse sporting results in the UK, which accounted for 40 per cent of the total decline.
