Former French monopoly operator Pari-Mutuel Urbain (PMU) has named deputy chief executive Xavier Hurstel as its new president and CEO.
Hustel was nominated to replace outgoing CEO Philippe Germond by the company's board of directors and its parent companies, France Galop and LeTrot, with the nomination gaining shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting held Monday. He will assume his new duties on Friday, October 10th.
