The newly formed Botswana Gambling Authority held a conference last week to familiarise industry stakeholders with the country's new gambling regulations, which come into force on April 1st.
The new law, known as the Gambling Act 2012, replaces the Casino and the Lotteries and Betting Acts and establishes the Botswana Gambling Authority as regulator.
