French gaming operator Pari-Mutuel Urbain (PMU) has become the latest leading European operator to join ESSA, the integrity body for the regulated sports betting industry.
The organisation described the addition of PMU as an important addition for ESSA, with the former horse racing betting monopoly currently Europe’s leading pari-mutual operator, and the second-largest in the world.
The agreement will allow it to strengthen its controls against match-fixing and fraudulent betting activity.
