A Louisiana resident has been jailed after pleading guilty for operating an illegal sports betting operation targeting customers in the state.
Frank Frabbiele, 79, pleaded guilty last September to two counts, the transmission of wagering information and money laundering.
According to court documents, Frabbiele ran a sports betting operation from around January 2008 until April 2014, in which he took bets and wagers on football, basketball, and baseball games.
