Playtech has elevated Israel CEO Shimon Akad to the role of chief operating officer to replace outgoing COO Shay Segev.
Segev, whose departure was revealed by Gaming Intelligence two weeks ago, will stay on for the next few months to perform an effective handover. Former head of casino Amir Askarov will replace Akad as Playtech Israel CEO.
