Zynga chief executive Don Mattrick is to leave the company after less than two years, with his predecessor and co-founder Mark Pincus returning to the helm.
Mattrick has stepped down from the role he held since July 2013 with immediate effect, and was thanked by Pincus for having helped evolve Zynga into a mobile-focused company, delivering “world class quality and value” to customers during his tenure.
