PhilWeb net income drops by 43% in H1 following e-Games suspension

Facing an uncertain future following the enforced closure of its e-Games Café operations, Philippines-based gaming technology provider PhilWeb has reported a 7 per cent increase in revenue to P850.0m (€16.4m) for the first half of 2016.

The company attributed the year-on-year revenue increase to its e-Games Cafés business and last November's launch of sports betting content.
