The American Gaming Association (AGA) has formed an Illegal Gambling Advisory Board which seeks to distinguish the highly regulated $240bn US gaming industry from illegal gambling taking place across the country.
It has been formed as part of the association’s “Stop Illegal Gambling – Play it Safe” initiative, and seeks to distinguish the regulated gaming market from the “criminal networks that rely on illegal gambling to fund violent crimes and drug and human trafficking.”
