Brazil contemplating concessions for private gaming operators

Brazil President Dilma Rousseff is to decide in the next week whether to sign legislation which could open up the Brazilian gaming market to private operators for the first time in over 70 years.

Hailed as a potential breakthrough in the country’s restrictive gaming market, the legislation is part of a broader bill to make the struggling football industry more transparent and financially stable, with several clubs currently experiencing severe financial hardship.
