Dutch consumer watchdog Consumentenbond has filed a complaint to the country’s gambling regulator, the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), accusing charitable lottery BankGiro Loterij of misleading consumers with a recent publicity campaign.
In the second week of July, BankGiro Loterij posted thousands of letters to consumers, with text on the envelope claiming it contained tickets to the Efteling theme park worth €72.
