New Jersey’s attempts to legalise sports betting have suffered a new blow after a court ruled that the state’s move last year to circumvent the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) was unlawful, despite acknowledging a number of flaws in the legislation and one of the presiding judges disputing the decision.
