Germany's largest state lottery, Nordrhein-Westphalia’s Westdeutsche Lotterie (WestLotto), has appointed NRW.Bank executive Christiane Jansen as its new chief executive, replacing outgoing CEO Theo Gossner.
A qualified lawyer, Jansen currently serves as a managing director of state investment bank NRW.Bank, where she heads the Consultation and Infrastructure Finance division. She is described as experienced in corporate strategy, with expertise in communications, government relations and European affairs, having held a number of different positions with the bank since 2002.
