Finland's Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed amendments to the licences of Veikkaus Oy and Raha-automaattiyhdistyksen (RAY), authorising both state controlled gaming operators to offer online gaming from the beginning of next month.
The Ministry said that the proportion of Finns gambling online continues to steadily increase, currently accounting for 20% of Veikkaus' revenues and 40% of Fintoto's. RAY has so far avoided online gaming, but will be clear to launch online slots and casino games [...]
