Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy has signed a bill authorising the state to develop sports betting regulations and to increase the number of off-track betting facilities.
The Regional Economic Development Plan authorises the state Commissioner on Consumer Protection to adopt sports betting regulations to regulate “wagering on sporting events to the extent permitted by state and federal law”.
