California’s House Appropriations Committee has unanimously voted in favour of legislation which would legalize and regulate daily fantasy sports contests in the state.
Introduced by Assemblyman Adam Gray in February of last year, before being amended in September, the bill would allow DFS operators such as FanDuel and DraftKings to apply for a licence in California, provided they pay an annual regulatory fee.
