Exclusive: Paddy Power, Playtech and William Hill enter bidding war for £300m OpenBet

Paddy Power, Playtech, William Hill and two private equity houses are bidding for gaming technology supplier OpenBet.

NYX is also understood to be interested. Private equity house Vitruvian has entered the second phase of its sale process as it seeks a return on the £208m it paid NDS for OpenBet in 2011.

Vitruvian are hoping to fetch around £300m for OpenBet, the equivalent to about 12 or 13x EBITDA, which is thought to be around £25m.
