Central European online and land-based betting operator Fortuna Entertainment has reported an 11 per cent increase in total gross win for 2015 following strong growth from its online channel, although higher costs and taxes negatively impacted profit.
The company's operations in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia saw total amounts staked rise 26 per cent year-on-year to €847.7m. This included €19.7m from its lottery business in the Czech Republic, up 18 per cent year-on-year.
