Liverpool-based gaming operator Stanleybet has launched a legal challenge against the recent decision to award Italy’s lottery concession to a consortium led by IGT subsidiary Lottomatica.
Italian gaming regulator Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM) announced its decision last week to provisionally award the Lotto concession to the Lottomatica consortium, which also includes Italian Gaming Holding - a subsidiary of Czech lottery operator SAZKA and investment vehicle Emma Capital - and Novomatic Italia.
