A Spanish Court has rejected a request from the founders of Codere to suspend a decision by the Spanish gaming operator's board of directors to remove them from the company's management team.
The Mercantile Court of Madrid dismissed the request "in its entirety", ruling against Codere founder José Antonio Martínez Sampedro, the operator's former CEO and chairman, and his brother Luis Javier Martínez Sampedro, a former vice president, whose family established the business in 1980.
