Having recently banned daytime gambling advertising around sporting broadcasts, Australia's Communications and Media Authority has now set its sights on live streamed sport.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) wants to extend the TV advertising ban, which prohibits gambling ads around sports broadcasts between 5:00am and 8:30pm, to live streamed sports via the internet.
