London-listed Paddy Power Betfair has confirmed that it has entered into discussions with FanDuel to merge its US operations with those of the daily fantasy sports (DFS) giant.
The operator said that the deal would allow the combined business to better target the regulated US sports betting market, after the Supreme Court struck down the ban on states regulating the vertical earlier this week.
