The process to launch regulated online gambling in Germany has taken yet another twist after a court ruling suspended Hesse's waiver process for sports betting operators, following a challenge from a leading operator.
The Duldung (English: toleration) offered operators temporary authorisation to offer sports betting online in Germany, provided they complied with the regulatory conditions set out in the Treaty and paid taxes.
