New consumer protection controls for online wagering are nearing implementation in Australia after state and territory ministers agreed to a national framework last week.
The National Consumer Protection Framework is being introduced in response to a series of reform recommendations by former New South Wales Premier Barry O'Farrell in his review of illegal offshore wagering.
