Michigan could become the next US state to challenge the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) following the introduction of legislation to legalise sports betting in the state.
Introduced by Representative Robert Kosowski this week, House Bill 4060 aims to allow land-based casino licence holders to accept wagers on sporting events, subject to Michigan residents approving the measure in a state-wide referendum.
