The Australian state of New South Wales (NSW) has fined Tabcorp for illegal advertising after two of its advertisements were ruled to be inducements to gamble.
The operator has been fined AUD$16,500 and ordered to pay $100,000 legal costs for breaching the NSW Racing Administration Regulation, joining other high-profile operators who have been convicted in the state for advertising offences. These include Ubet, Unibet, Crownbet, Topbetta, Bet365, Ladbrokes, Sportsbetting.com.au and ClassicBet.
