The European Lotteries (EL) has appointed Arjan van’t Veer as its new secretary general, effective March 1st.
An expert in gambling regulation, van’t Veer has been a part of the EL’s executive committee since 2013 and serves as the director of corporate affairs at Dutch lottery operator Nederlandse Loterij, which was born out of last year's merger of Nederlandse Staatsloterij and De Lotto.
