DAZN Group has signed a landmark five-year global partnership with Golden Boy Promotions which will bring Mexican professional boxer Saul “Canelo” Alvarez to the live and on-demand streaming service for his next 11 fights.
DAZN said that the multi-million dollar broadcast deal with Canelo, estimated to be worth $365m, was the richest contract for an athlete in sporting history, and underlined the company’s promise to revolutionise the way fans watch sport.
