The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has issued penalty packages to two more online casino operators for problem gambling and money laundering failings, with regulatory action also taken against senior management responsible for operators’ failings.
As part of an ongoing industry-wide investigation, the UKGC has imposed nearly £14m in penalty packages on three companies as a result of their failings to put in place effective safeguards to prevent money laundering and keep consumers safe from gambling-related harm.
