China’s lottery sales reached RMB95.25bn (€12.9bn) in the first quarter of 2017, a rise of 4.9 per cent year-on-year.
The strong quarterly growth followed a solid performance from both the Welfare Lottery and Sports Lottery in March, which generated combined total sales of RMB37.93 for the month, up 6.3 per cent year-on-year.
