The US state of Indiana has handed out its first daily fantasy sports (DFS) licences since it became the second state to pass legislation in March last year.
The three recipients were DraftKings and FanDuel – the industry giants that have agreed to merge but face opposition from the US Federal Trade Commission – and FantasyDraft.
FantasyDraft is understood to be the third-largest DFS operator in the US market, though lags far behind leaders DraftKings and FanDuel.
