Portugal's five licensed gaming operators have generated gross gaming revenue (GGR) of €56.8m for the first half of 2017, despite a third consecutive quarter of decline for the sports betting vertical.
Sports betting GGR amounted to €31.3m for the six-month period, despite seeing second quarter GGR decline 20 per cent versus the previous quarter to €13.9m. Games of chance contributed a further €25.3m in GGR during the period.
