PokerStars operator The Stars Group has begun a new era after scrapping the Amaya brand, relocating the company's Canadian head office to Toronto and moving to a larger base in Malta to continue its expansion on the island.
Plans to change the company's name were first announced in May this year, and were designed to reflect both its heritage and players' loyalty to the PokerStars brand.
