IGT secures Canadian VLT monitoring contract

International Game Technology (IGT) has signed a new four-year contract to supply the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) with its video lottery terminal (VLT) monitoring systems.

The contract extension runs to July 6th, 2021, and sees the AGLC continue to use IGT's INTELLIGEN central system, allowing it to monitor 6,000 VLTs across the Canadian province.

The AGLC has been using the system since 2003, with IGT also supplying 4,800 of the terminals through a separate contract.
