Prague-listed betting and gaming operator Fortuna Entertainment Group has closed its €47m deal to acquire four Romanian gaming operators from its majority shareholder Fortbet Holdings.
The completion of the deal significantly strengthens Fortuna's presence in Romania, and includes 787 retail betting stores across the Bet Active Concept, Bet Zone, Public Slots and Slot Arena brands. Of this number, 57 per cent are wholly-owned, while the rest are franchisees.
