Scientific Games has joined its acquisition target NYX Gaming Group in filing a lawsuit against William Hill, accusing the British bookmaker of seeking to "undermine competition in the gaming industry".
In its suit filed last week in the District Court of Clark County in Nevada, Scientific Games claimed that William Hill was "using extortion and coercion" to stop the companies competing directly and to stop the supplier from completing its deal for NYX.
